The Pain Point
Competitive bikes generally fall into two categories: road bikes and time trial (TT) bikes. TT bikes are purpose-built for time trial racing on controlled courses. However, some riders need the performance of a TT bike but, due to cost or other constraints, resort to modifying a conventional road bike.
These makeshift solutions are neither safe nor professionally engineered.
